The friendship between a little girl and a Golem in a new anime

The new anime produced by Japanese studio Satelight is Somali to mori no Kamisama (Somali and the spirit of the forest), fantasy series available in 2020. Below infos and trailer.
Based on the manga with the same name by Yako Gureishi (still being published), the anime is co-produced by Crunchyroll, directed by Kenji Yasuda (Macross Delta), with the character design by Ikuko Itoh (Sailor Moon SuperS: The Movie), and the artists Naotarou Moriyama and Inori Minase respectively composers of the songs for the opening and ending.
Set in a fantasy world populated by spirits, goblins and other strange creatures, and where the human race is almost extinct, the story talks about the encounter between a girl and a forest guardian Golem (Jewish mythological creature). A similar father-daughter relationship will be established between the two during a dangerous journey through those lands.
